Step by Step Instructions
 |
- Open SmartFTP (see Figure 1 below) (or your FTP program of choice).
- You will need to type the following address: members.logical.net
- Login: is your entire email address. For example, if your email address
is joes@logical.net then use joes@logical.net for your login.
- Type in your password. This is the same password you use to logon to the Internet using Logical Net.
- Fill in Port 21. Don't ask what this is. It can get quite technical if we tried to explain it. Trust us it just works.
- The Press the "Connect Button"

- You will come up with a screen that shows the remote directory (see Figure 2 below)
- You will need to change to the public_html folder. All of your files need to be here, or nobody will be able to see them.

- Now it's time to upload your files.
- For the SmartFTP click Commands menu, then go to upload section of the command menu continue on to direct and select files
- Here is the sequence one more time just in case you did not follow that. Using SmartFTP, click Commands --> Upload ---> Direct ---> Select files
- OK Figure 3 below provides a visual

- This will open a new box that will show your files in your computer (see Figure 4 below).
- You can select the ones you wish to upload, and click open. Note that files you want to download are the files you created using you HTML editor. Hopefully you name your main web page "index.html"
- Now you are ready to up upload the files to our server.

- It should look similar to the image below (See Figure 5 below)

See how easy that was!!
This is why we like this SmartFTP program. It has a nice features such as the ability to "drag and drop" files. It works
very much like My Computer in Windows.
Once all of your files are uploaded, it's time to view them in your web browser.
The address you would go to, would be http://www.logical.net/~username/
If you just uploaded images with out the "index.html", you would have to type in the image names with
the appropriate extension to view the file. For example if you uploaded an image call "file.jpg" then
you need to go to http://www.logical.net/~username/file.jpg
You are now finished and please be sure to tell all your friends and family of your new site and and let
them know the great services we offer so that they can sign up with us too.
