IMMEDIATE OPENINGS:

Application Support Engineer

This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of e-mail communications systems, applicating software, operating systems, and related infrastructure. Responsible for configuration, implementation, maintenance, and migration of customer E-mail systems, file sharing, and productivity applications. Configure support and troubleshoot virtual desktop environments. Strong knowledge of E-mail systems, desktop operating systems, remote management systems, productivity applications and server platforms is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience with email platforms such as Exchange, Office 365, POP and IMAP
Strong knowledge of Office 365 and cloud-based applications
Proficiency configuring, managing and troubleshooting DNS
Experience creating configuring and installing SSL certificates
Ability to support Citrix desktop environments
Proficiency with IT management platforms, antivirus, and backup tools
Familiarity with Windows and Linux command line
Ability to use Windows Power Shell
Familiarity with IIS and Apache Web Server configuration
Ability to troubleshoot web-based applications
Proficiency troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
Local travel to customer sites is required

This position is an integral member of the Logical Net engineering group. Communication and collaboration with customers, sales, senior engineering, and first level support staff is critical in this role. Local travel and effective interaction with our customers is required.


IT Help Desk Engineer

The IT Help Desk Engineer’s primary role is to act as first level support for Logical Net customers. Individuals in the position will interact with customers via telephone, e-mail, and ticket-based support systems. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong time management skills. The IT Help Desk engineer will act as a liaison between customers, 2nd and 3rd level support engineers, vendors, and Logical Net staff. The primary role of the IT Help Desk engineer is to ensure customer satisfaction with Logical Net products and services and to ensure timely resolution to customer problems as they occur.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide commercial IT Help Desk coverage
Provide residential support coverage as necessary
Interact with customers and provide first and second level support
Track and manage customer contact with ticket-based systems and support tools
Facilitate solutions to customer issues with senior engineers and track progress
Open tickets with telecom vendors for network outages and track progress
Provide remote support for end user workstations and applications
Provision or add/change/remove services as follows
E-Mail, Web services, Backup, Communications, Office Applications, Antivirus, Spam filtering
Provide custom support and managed services as defined by the customer SOP
Data center services as required
Support sales and accounting Staff
Provide written documentation, policies and procedures as necessary

IT Help Desk engineers will assist in day-to-day data center and network operations. This will include provisioning for new customers and add/change/remove activities for existing customers. Engineers will interact with sales and accounting to ensure proper provisioning and de-provisioning of services.


IT Systems Engineer

This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, application software and related infrastructure. Responsible for management of multiple customers onsite and using Logical Net’s IT management platform. The position provides 2nd level support to Network Operation Center (NOC) staff and customers. Strong knowledge of windows operating systems, E-mail systems, and server platforms is required. MCSE certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems. (Windows 7, 8, 10)
Proficiency with IT management platforms, antivirus, and backup tools.
Familiarity with E-mail servers such as Exchange, Sendmail, Postfix, Icewarp
Demonstrated Experience with Windows Server 2008 or 2012
Familiarity with Windows and Linux command line
Familiarity with IIS and Apache Web Server configuration
Ability to troubleshoot web based applications
Proficiency troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
Local travel to customer sites is required

Experience Requirements

3-5 years selling technology solutions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM applications
Bachelors degree preferred
