Backup & Disaster Recovery

When the worst happens, you are back up fast.

Ransomware. Hardware failure. Natural disaster. LogicalNet builds and manages backup and disaster recovery programs with immutable backups, replication to a virtual DR site, documented RTOs, and recovery testing engagements on the cadence you choose.

Backups you can actually recover from

Most businesses discover their backups are broken during a disaster. We prove recovery works before you need it.

3-2-1 backup strategyThree copies of data, on two different media, with one offsite — the industry standard for a reason.
Immutable cloud storageRansomware-proof backups in object lock storage that cannot be deleted or encrypted.
Daily validationAutomated daily verification that backups completed successfully and are restorable.
Compliance-aligned retentionRetention schedules built to match HIPAA, SOX, or industry-specific requirements.
Recovery & BCDR

Documented plans, recovery you can verify

A backup is only as good as your ability to recover from it. Customers schedule recovery testing on a cadence that fits their business — most choose annually — and we deliver the testing as a managed engagement.

Defined RTO & RPOEvery critical system has a documented recovery time and recovery point objective.
Recovery testing engagementsFull recovery tests run on the cadence you choose — most commonly annually — with documented results, remediation, and audit-ready evidence. Testing is delivered as a scheduled managed engagement.
Incident standard operating proceduresStep-by-step recovery playbooks for ransomware, hardware failure, and site loss scenarios.
Virtual DR siteCloud-based disaster recovery site for business-critical workloads.
How It Works

A clear, repeatable process

Every engagement follows the same four-step framework — so you always know where things stand.

1

Assess

We identify critical systems, dependencies, acceptable downtime, and compliance requirements.

2

Design

Match backup and DR strategy to each system’s tier, cost, and recovery objectives.

3

Deploy

Configure backups, immutability, offsite replication, standard operating procedures, and user training.

4

Test & refine

Scheduled recovery testing engagements (annual is typical) with documented results, improvements, and review.

Recovery tiers

Options that fit your business

Not every system needs sub-hour recovery — and paying for it on everything wastes budget. We tier workloads based on business impact.

Who This Is For

Built for growing Upstate NY organizations

Healthcare / HIPAA

Medical practices, clinics, and healthcare providers with strict recovery and retention requirements.

Zero-downtime businesses

Companies where downtime has direct revenue impact — manufacturing, retail, financial services.

Ransomware targets

Industries under active attack — finance, healthcare, manufacturing, legal, education.

Common Questions

Questions we hear from IT leaders

The monthly subscription covers continuous backup, replication to a virtual DR site, immutable storage, and ongoing platform monitoring. Recovery services and recovery testing are delivered as scheduled managed engagements billed separately — so you only pay for them when they’re actually performed.
Backups themselves are verified daily through automated checks built into the platform. Full recovery testing is delivered as a scheduled engagement on the cadence you choose — most customers select annually. Testing is billed as a managed engagement separate from the backup and replication subscription.
RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is how long it takes to get a system back online. RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is how much data you can afford to lose. A 4-hour RTO with a 1-hour RPO means you can be down for 4 hours max and lose no more than 1 hour of data.
Yes. Critical data is stored in object lock (immutable) storage that cannot be deleted or modified, even by an administrator with compromised credentials. This is a core defense against ransomware.
Yes. We support granular recovery for individual files, folders, mailboxes, emails, SharePoint sites, and database records — not just full-system recovery.
Mission-critical and business-critical workloads are replicated to a virtual DR site that we can activate within the RTO window. Your team continues working from the virtual site while we rebuild production.
We protect environments ranging from hundreds of gigabytes to multi-terabyte data centers. Cost and architecture scale with volume, but there is no upper limit.
