30 Years of Upstate New York

LogicalNet was founded on September 9, 1994 in Schenectady, NY — one of the first high-speed internet providers in Upstate New York. Over three decades, the company evolved from a pioneering ISP to a nationally recognized managed IT and cybersecurity firm.

1994

Founded in Schenectady as one of Upstate NY’s first high-speed ISPs.

1997–2004

Acquired 11 companies, launched Capital Net residential service, opened first data center.

2001

Inc. 500: 7th fastest-growing internet business, 47th fastest-growing U.S. company.

2002–2005

Became one of the first VoIP/CLEC providers in Upstate New York.

2016–2020

Launched Managed IT Services practice; expanded HQ to Maxon Road Extension.

2021

Launched full MSSP/cybersecurity practice with 24/7 SOC.

2022

Hosted inaugural Tech Valley Cybersecurity Symposium.

2025
